This non-corporate, non-profit consultative body operates under the guidance of Sichuan and Chongqing’s Party committees and cultural tourism authorities, uniting local governments, cultural and tourism enterprises, technology innovation hubs, universities, financial institutions, cultural and museum institutions, and market entities to jointly build the Bashu Cultural Tourism Corridor.
Magnificent Yangtze Three Gorges Cultural Tourism Alliance
Strategically positioned to build a world-renowned destination, national high-quality development model, and Western China’s cultural-tourism integration leader, this alliance focuses on building three platforms (resource integration, project development, and collaboration), leveraging three key roles (uniting cultural and tourism enterprises along the Three Gorges, integrating cultural tourism resources across the entire region, and launching high-impact projects;) and coordinating ports, cruises, attractions, governments, enterprises, associations, and academia to achieve holistic regional growth.
Rooted in Chongqing’s “mother city” heritage, this alliance elevates urban cultural tourism through “tourism+” industries, boosting urban consumption and industrial synergy. Guided by the “One Standard, Four Integrations” framework, it implements the “Four Excellence Plan” (emphasizing attractiveness, fun, delicacy, and hospitality) to revitalize Chongqing’s urban tourism landscape and enhance urban tourism quality.
Dedicated to high-quality integrated development of culture and tourism in the Wuling Mountain region, this alliance establishes mutual-benefit mechanisms and cross-regional collaboration frameworks. It drives major projects and brand-building, unifies operations, develops premium routes, and conducts joint marketing to elevate the “Greater Wuling” brand into a nationally recognized eco-cultural destination.
Under the guidance of Chongqing’s Municipal Publicity Department and State-Owned Assets Supervision Commission, this alliance, led by CQCT, unites art universities, creative agencies, cultural and museum institutions, tourist sites, and cultural parks. Guided by the principles of “state-led synergy, market-driven innovation, and digital-forward copyright activation”, it promotes cross-industry and cross-regional resource integration. The alliance also provides public services in policy consulting, training, information exchange, tech cooperation, market expansion, and IP protection to fuel high-quality growth.
