Group Overview

Chongqing Culture and Tourism Group (CQCT) was officially established on November 12, 2024, with a registered capital of CNY 1.214 billion. Positioned as a modern integrated operator and service provider in the cultural and tourism industry, CQCT is dedicated to advancing the deep integration of culture and tourism, revitalizing Chongqing’s cultural endeavors, cultural industries, and tourism sector in the new era. Anchored by two core pillars—“tourism resource development and operation” and “modern comprehensive tourism services”—the Group leverages the development of the Bashu Cultural Tourism Corridor to cultivate iconic cultural tourism IPs such as the “World-class Landscape Metropolis”, the “Majestic Yangtze Three Gorges”, and the “Vibrant Wuling Cultural Region”.

CQCT aspires to become a top-tier leader in the modern cultural tourism industry, driving the growth of Chongqing’s entire sector. It aims to propel the city’s transformation into a cultural tourism powerhouse, a globally renowned destination, a national model for high-quality tourism development, and a pioneering hub for integrated cultural tourism initiatives in western China. These efforts will yield landmark achievements that are “dominant in western China, nationally competitive, and distinctly emblematic of Chongqing”. Currently, the Group prioritizes ten key business areas: scenic area operations, hotel management, cruise tourism, smart tourism services, travel services, cultural performances, cultural innovation, cultural finance, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) operations, and real estate development.

By 2027, CQCT aims to achieve total assets of CNY 35 billion, manage assets exceeding CNY 40 billion, and attain an annual tourist reception capacity surpassing 15 million. The Group targets a yearly revenue of CNY 5 billion, operation of more than 50 tourist destinations, and management of over 300 hotels. Additionally, CQCT plans to establish a citywide cultural and tourism industry alliance and cultivate two listed entities.
