Since January 2010, it has hosted more than 4,200 excellent stage performances from both domestic and international artists, attracting 5.5 million attendees, with annual averages of over 500 shows and more than 400,000 visitors. The Grand Theatre ranks in the top tier of national theatres. Its plans include the “Chongqing Cloud Eye” Cultural Performance Complex, deep integration of domestic and international performing arts resources, and leveraging global partnerships to produce and tour internationally acclaimed IPs. Leveraging its 15 years of operational experience, it will extend its management services to other theatres and new performing arts spaces within Chongqing, contributing to the development of a regional theatre performance cluster.
